New Feature: Webhooks

We're officially launching our new Webhooks feature! We've prepared a blog post that should help explain what they are, and how they can help your business.

What Are Webhooks?

Webhooks are a way for applications to automatically send data in real-time as events happen. Webhooks can be used for a variety of purposes, such as automating tasks, syncing data between apps, or sending notifications. Webhooks are a fairly technical feature, and as such we recommend talking with your developers about what you can do with them. We've included some examples below, but if you have questions about other possible integrations, we're happy to answer them!

Wait, Why Webhooks Instead Of Direct Integrations With Platforms Like Quickbooks?

We've received many requests for various integrations, ranging from Quickbooks to Delivery Management applications. With Webhooks, we are giving our users the tools to link StaffConnect with any system that also offers RESTful API connections. This way, we won't be forcing our users to use a system that they may not want to use, simply because it's the only one that is built into StaffConnect. Maybe you use Wave instead of Quickbooks. Now you can integrate with them as well!

Sync With Your Task Manager

Do you use a task manager such as ClickUp, Notion, Asana, or anything similar? With Webhooks, you can sync data from StaffConnect to those applications, and track your internal goals more efficiently.

Upload Data To Your Lead Platform

If you use a platform like Salesforce or Hubspot to manage your client leads, Webhooks can create a connection between StaffConnect and these platforms. If you add a new client to StaffConnect, why not automatically set that client up in Salesforce? Set up Webhooks to do just that.

Send Payroll Info To Quickbooks

Mark your invoices as paid, add a new employee to Quickbooks when they are created in StaffConnect, and much more. We'll be offering an integration package for Quickbooks soon, so keep an eye out for that!

Made For The Technologically Savvy

Webhooks are a powerful new feature of StaffConnect, but they do require some technical know-how to get up and running. We suggest speaking with your developers about how you can utilize this new feature to the fullest. If you don't have a developer, that's okay! Feel free to reach out to us to discuss how we can help you achieve the integrations you are looking for at a reasonable cost. We're excited to see what our users can do with Webhooks!
